Another week has passed and it is the end of the first quarter. Students and staff have been working hard during this time to accomplish many things. I couldn't be more proud of them all.
We knew coming back to in-person classes, after being out of the building for five months, was going to be a challenge. In addition, the installation of our new HVAC system added some bumps in the road that we were not prepared for. However, staff and students alike, rose to the challenge placed in our path and are demonstrating daily that St. Mary's is believing, achieving and inspiring growth.
When the year started students came back so excited to see their friends and after a long time of minimal social interaction, they had so much to say. Now we are back in routine and most have adjusted, though some students still have to be reminded that there is a time to speak and a time to listen. Regardless of the adjustments we must make, it has been amazing to be in the classrooms, be with the students and imagine the world through their eyes.
Don't forget, we are still collecting items for the senior care pages. Thank you for helping your child participate in this service project.
I hope you enjoy a beautiful weekend.
Stay safe and God bless,
Janna
